Mindy first fell in love with the Great Dane breed in 1979, becoming active in obedience. In1984, she decided to venture into the conformation ring with a Great Dane from breeder Elaine Baldi, named DeerRuns Jessica L.Bannister earning the conformation Champion title. Their quick success officially had Mindy hooked on working in the show ring. Mindy’s notable achievements include High in Trial at a Speciality Obedience Trial, a second place in the conformation brace class at The Great Dane National Specialty show, as well as two Great Danes competing in agility throughout the 1990’s and early 2000’s. After taking a break from competitive dog sports for a few years, Mindy came back to the show scene with her Great Dane, Reina, in 2011 and has been going strong ever since.
