The Great Dane Club of Mid Florida’s members encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Great Danes and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection as outlined by the accepted standard of the American Kennel Club.
The Club conducts sanctioned specialty shows and members participate in many events and activities as eligible under the American Kennel Club such as obedience, rally, agility, scentwork, barnhunt, lurecoursing, and therapy.
Members are active in local and national Great Dane rescue efforts and promote the humane treatment and welfare of all dogs.
The Club periodically host educational programs and seminars in various areas of interest relating to dog ownership, health and wellbeing, conformation, and performance.
